Our Story

Hi, My name is Jackie the founder of Ellabella Textiles. I like to think of myself as an Artisan rather an Artist as I have a love for natural and handmade crafts.  I have always painted using mixed media .  Over the last few years with more time on my hands I have turned to mixed media textiles, using hand felt and embellishing of various materials, predominately wool and silk. 

  More recently with my love of scouring antique shops, I have been able to take unloved, unwanted antique silver  with the combination of semi-precious gemstones and upcycle them into unique pieces of jewellery.

 I also use Sterling Silver, and semi-precious gemstones creating contemporary and individual jewellery  I take my inspiration  from the beauty of nature I see and feel all around me, this inspires me to continually evolve new ideas to create my jewellery.
